the bracelet is worth $700.

so it will bring more than $3k. i think $3500 is more like it.

I'm with Harry.
Silver date wheel, late run 9411 with the newer tritium dial and the 93150?

I'm going to say around $3300.

its a good one. that bracelet is the best you could put on a tudor sub. it makes a big difference than the other crimped 7836 types out there.

with the prices where they are, a nice 16570 explorer is looking like a better deal. however, the snowflake is such a great watch

9.4 mill serial ? More like 940K, right?

OK, just checked 946,9xx which dates it about 79-80? Just a couple thou after mine.

Nice piece - too good to be true?

Yeah, how do you know, right.....I guess it depends on price, this should be a good lesson on what the "true" market value is for this watch. I'm going to start keeping a little database of actual sales...I know sad....

I looked at this one myself earlier this week. Looks very nice and I think it will go $3300 to $3500. Bracelet is a little short, but that can be fixed just fine. I'm not in the game for this one, but somebody will get a nice watch.

On a side note, the guy I got 94110 from has another one on the Bay, a 7021, Roulette wheel at 4K or best offer (head only) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage1968-...item256f1dd654

I think it is a little pricey @ 4K but the high res images I got from him a couple months back look better than the ones on Ebay, at least they were higher res.

I actually thought about getting an exp ii due to the prices when I was looking at my snowflake. I lucked out and was able to swing it with 93150 for $2850 but it's a black dial. I actually prefer the older black to the matte blue dials but like the blue inserts.

Amazing that it went for this much money with just an ETA movement. You can buy the Rolex equivalent 16800 for give or take $300-500 more with a Rolex movement. Tudors like this are way over priced at the moment IMHO.

Seems like a lot for a Tudor. I just don't see the value. For nearly the same you can get a real submariner from late 80's into the mid 90's

The snowflake is a real submariner and many will argue that it's one of the most unique ones because there is no Rolex version snowflake. Over the past 6 months snowflakes have been in high demand, and the prices for them have gone up significantly.

A lot . . . ?
It all depends in what condition you want to have a watch . . .
And if it is a watch that I really want I am gladly paying a surplus to my max price.
Otherwise you will be reselling it later to get one in a better condition . . .

I was " watching" this item as well. I went as high as $3500 but that was it for me. The pics show it to be very good condition wise. Still on the hunt for one with no date.........blue snowflake dial. Not sure what the ref. # for that would be, any ideas?

It's still a tudor - I don't care what people on the internet do to create some kind of Faux demand, it will always have an ETA movement, and always be a bastard child.

This statement is an inappropriate way to convey your point
MANY members on our forum - who can and do own any brand of watch they desire own Tudors...

Meh. I own a large-dial 16800 and a DSSD and as far as I'm concerned the blue Snowflake is the real deal Holyfield. It took me a while to snag mine (for a lot less than $3900 on the correct 9135, but still), but now that I've got it (and my 7928) the Rolexes are getting a well deserved rest in the ol' watch box.

These are most definitely Submariners:

Word.

Adam

So, I was bidding against you

I did many searches on blue snowflakes in the last few days, they look to be up anywhere from 20-40% compared to 1 year ago. Bad example in the low $2,000's, good in the low $3,000's and the best in the high $3,000's....

For the naysayers, movement aside, many people think blue watches are jsut so cool they would pay about anything for them.....

Yes.. I guess we were bidding against each other. Too funny. That looked like a really good example but my heart is really set on a blue snowflake no date ideally. For a guy that lives in AZ you root for the right baseball team.....go Bosox!
