I must admit I have a connection to my watch and I can't imagine flipping it but I don't associate gender into the picture. I'm not French and I have enough problems with the opposite gender as it is.

My wife just told me that she does no bi into those kind of arguments about the gender of watches. Hey, wait a minute, I need to to ask her a few personal questions. Looks like, all of a sudden, I have more important things to do!

I always consider both my GMT and Explorer II to be very masculine so they are males but I always say "she" when I refer to them.

Example given:

"I think I will wear my GMT today. Its time she got the wrist time she deserves."

"Beautiful watch!! Shes a beauty!"
