something does not add up here

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rolex-Wat...item1c25db5f78

stock photo only and then what a elaborate story, how can you bid out such as watch also

Q: Before bidding on a watch such as this, I must ask what proof of authenticity you have such as stamped warranty & purchase receipt etc? Maybe some more photos of the actual watch & packaging for instance. 12-Apr-12
A: Glx18 We source our watches from the EU mainly, from our business partner who is an authorised Rolex dealer. I don't have the stock in Australia at present, so can't actually take any additional photographs. It would be shipped direct to you from the EU using a secure courier and ofcourse, you can pick it up from an Australia Post store, where you can have a look and verify what we are selling is genuine. We guarantee any watch we sell as authentic, with full Rolex international warranty, stamped by the dealer. On that basis, we will refund all monies if you can demonstrate that the item is not a sealed, genuine product. We are currently growing our watch selling business and only deal in genuine product, from authorised dealers, meaning that all our items are backed by the manufacturers warranty. Not all watch sellers can provide that, as most “qualify” their warranties by saying that they are providing their own warranty, eg Amazon, etc. We on the other hand, work with a range of authorised dealers for the brands we sell (Rolex, Omega, TAG, IWC) and ensure that our prices are attractive against local retail, but are not the cheapest. To get the cheapest prices, there is a level of risk which we refuse to take. GLX18, we are a genuine seller with genuine product and want to grow our business online, based on positive feedback, so we only want happy customers. Regards Tony

Agree. The little feedback the seller/sellers have dates back to 2008.Also the previous sales are buildings related.Link this with the statement regarding the current location of the watch ( somewhere in the EU ) it looks like someone is out to make a killing.

This seller is more articulate than the usual eBay scammer, but their response still basically boils down to "trust us." It seems like classic misdirection. The OP asked a legitimate question about authentication, and it went unanswered.
