Model Numbers on the Movements
Does Rolex put the model number of the watch on the movement or just the movement number?
Could a 16618 movement (3135) be replaced with a 3135 from a 16610? |

A cal 3135 is a cal 3135 its the same movement thats used in the majority of Rolex watches the only difference will be the movement serial number, the only model ref will be on the case and not on the movement.

Yes that makes sense. Was having a debate about it with someone I work with. They thought that the model number was also written on the movement.
