Bought this today at Augusta National (Not a Rolex, but still looks great)
I went to Augusta National today, that course they play The Masters on, and bought this little beauty.
This is not this years watch they sold at The Masters, I didn't care for that style, so I asked if they had anymore so they brought this out! |

Nice! What type of movement? I didn't realize they sold branded watches at Augusta.

That's cool...but let's get down to the real question. Did you get to play the course??

It's closed for play right now, or that's rumors I've heard now. It usually doesn't close until the end of may but due to damage I know they were considering it. Usually it's open for 2 months after the Masters so members can play with the current Masters setup. Closes from May-October because of the heat and this is when changes are made to the course for next years tournament so the grass has time to grow and the course doesn't look like its been worked on. The last people that get to play the course are the caddies on caddy day then the course closes if anyone wants useless trivia.

After spending nearly 9 months in Augusta for training back in my Army days, I can attest to the searing heat down there. Didn't know the course was closed for so long, however! Thanks for the "useless trivia"

They're open for play till the very end of May, now is when all the VIP's from companies, people who helped during the tournament, caddies, and the final member party are going on!
Nope, didn't play, went by to get this from the asst in the pro shop! I sure wanted to though!!! |
