FS: Vintage GLYCINE COMBAT Compressor Automatic from 1967…Excellent!
1967 GLYCINE COMBAT Automatic
Black 24-Hour Dial Glycine/ETA 2472 Outstanding Condition For sale is this Vietnam-era Glycine Combat Automatic in outstanding condition. I have read that the original 1960s production was very limited, with perhaps as few as 100 example made. This one is all original, including the cross-hatch Glycine crown. The Glycine-signed ETA 2472 runs flawlessly and looks almost brand new. You may not find a nicer “Combat” from the 1960s than this one. Details: …34mm x 42mm matte stainless steel Compressor case, Ref. 645, is in excellent original condition, showing some wear on bezel and lugs. …Inside caseback is dated “6-67.” …Powered by the Glycine-signed ETA 17 Jewel Cal. 2472 automatic movement. …Sets and winds smoothly, operates flawlessly, and keeps time accurately. …Original 24-hour black dial in excellent condition; hour numerals are no longer luminous. …Original hands are in excellent condition, but no longer luminous. …Acrylic crystal is in excellent condition. …Triple-signed on dial, case, and movement. …Equipped with a new olive green NATO strap. Priced to sell at $875.00/£550.00/€670.00 shipped to US/UK/EU. No trades. I accept bank wire transfers, money orders, bank checks, personal checks (10 days clearing), and Western Union; and PayPal for U.S. shipments. For fastest response, please email to: [email protected] I am a long-time posting member of several watch forums including this one. I am also a member of the NAWCC and maintain a 100% positive feedback on eBay (“pacifichrono”).
