Here is when I service my one.
So I pull out my special tools. I start with the universal case holder. It´s no problem to get it open with correct tools. The I use the crown release tool And the tiny crown holder. Then I pull out the movement. The crown holder it´s a multi tool who can pull off the hands too. Unfortunately it didn´t works on chronographs. Then I will looking for things that not will be in place until next service. I found out the logo need some new glue. I have to do some works with the hands, the condition is bad and some minor adjustments will help. Time to see whats up below the dial. Nothing fancy, just the date wheel. So I have to pull off the date wheel to get a little deeper inside the movement. Not so many parts left here. You have to be careful when you pull off the rotor, it´s easy to damage it. This time i was lucky, no problems to get it off. Now I will pull off the rotor bearing bridge. That was easy too. And the special halfgear that shows it´s a real Rolex. The 3 part balance wheel. A closer look at it. The afro hairspring. And all the part I will clean and give som lubricant. Just feel free to drop me a mail or PM if you need a cheap service. Why pay $300 for a service? When I can do it for you for $500. Jocke |

I knew all those fancy watchmaker schools were a rip off! Thanks for clearing up the myth of needing a "professional" to service my watch. This will save me some serious cash. Jocke, you are the best!

I, on the other hand, haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Jocke, you are a genius, my man!

ok so it's a fake and i no nothing about watches,my dad found it over the forest so im not out of pocket or anything, anyways its still a nice watch and worth gettin fixed i think, ive seen and had a few other fake rolex's with the quality not half as decent as this,so i guess this is a replica copy and not the cheapo $10 fakes

Hourglass, now that you know it's fake why don't you just go out and buy yourself a non fake watch a Timex perhaps, you know the one that takes a licking and keeps on ticking. This way you will not have to come here and ask us if it's real or fake ;o)

If you say so. I think the garbage can that you'd throw that in is worth more than that folex.
