Get a Doxa. Very nice watch and almost priced cheap enough to be disposable but not quite.

Cover your watch with blue painters tape while on subway.
Then peel it off when getting off. ----------------------------------- But now when I think about it.....since the issue is SUBWAY.....just put your hand and wrist through two pieces of 12" bread |

A 14010 Air King with a salmon arabic 369 dial and engine turned bezel would probably do the trick

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Turns out I just got the same DJ II with white gold bezel and the SS bracelet, bought it in NYC at Tourneau at the corner of 53rd and Madison.

The more I see this thread the more I'm inclined to have the people on the preverbal subway see the bling bling (i'm doing the champaign dial with diamonds too, so awesome, i'd love it in dj2tt and will do that too likely bfore the ddii cause the djii rocks) because as they see the bling bling we have communicated two things: one, it is possible, the accumulation of strength and wealth and buying power in our world such that a woman's or man's pursuit of happiness is not impaired and we are evidence that it can be done, however to us comes the metal and mechancis; two, that I've got enough confidence to wear such in anyones presence; and three, the MOST important to me, that I will not presume or assume that anybody will just steal my rolex such that the presumption prevents me from enjoying life -- I will presume enough to get insurance for the unpredictable and expected dark side of humanity, but I don't live under a mountain of rock of fear over humanity's dark side, let private market overcome -- nor enjoying their company.

A very good choice!!! I only brought my last post as a result of the subway speak. In work, I wouldn't even myself mind a nice SS DJ for times when the bling isn't appropriate, for those times are. Wear in good health! |

If you want to stay with Rolex, a Milgauss is an excellent sleeper.
If not a Rolex, how about a Speedy Moonwatch? Or there is a multitude of brands that aren't as recognisable as Rolex ... |

I'd go for the new Sub-C NoDate (114060), or for a pre-loved JLC Master Compressor Diving Chrono.

Consider the Explorer II. I ever get a second look from anyone when wearing it.
