GMT Master Question

Ok.

Is there a GMT Master with the Referenz Number 16750 ?
If so which one is it? The GMT II or I?
And am I correct that if the Case Nr. is 627XXXX it was made in 79' ?

Thanks for the info!

Yes, there is a GMT 16750 made, and it would not be a "II".

Have a look at the below link about telling the production date from the serial number:

"Production Dates By Serial No." CLICK!

Have a try with this link, then:

"Serial Numbers." CLICK!

Please note the text on the page:

"Since Rolex does not publish official information about the age of their watches, watch collectors gathered lists of serial numbers, from which the age can be estimated. Unfortunately there are different lists in the internet, which tend to be similar, but in the detail nevertheless differences do exist. By usage of the list a rough estimation of the age is possible. However, the accuracy cannot be guaranteed. It’s important to know that the data refers to the year of manufacture only. The sales date of the watch can deviate substantially from it."
