Difference btw Z and M Series Sub Date?

What differences, if any, are there between the Z and M Series 16610's? (Before posting this question I searched prior posts but couldn't find it asked or answered).

I was given a choice between the two at the AD (got to pick through various serial numbers too) and went with an M series in the 2000's. I saw mention of CRBs in the M series, but as you can see, mine is without.

Thanks.

The only difference is the letter before the numbers on the serial number.

It's possible that the later "M"s may come with the Rolex inscripted chapter ring.

Everything else remains the same.

There are no differences between the two watches. The letter on the serial number identifies the production time period of the case. Z is for 2006/07, M is for 07 till Rolex comes up with the new letter in about another year.
The only difference you may find is in the resale market as some people tend to favor later production models.

Maxi dial? Ceramic bezel?

In another thread S2000 Driver asked whether the M Series lacked both a maxi dial and ceramic bezel. I don't know the answer. Are these features found in earlier (Z) series? How can I tell if my M has either feature? Thanks - I'm learning alot already.

There is ONE difference:

The very LATEST M-series' SS Sub Date DO have the CRB.

I saw it in person at my AD.

Rob,

If we're talking Subs, No Sub has a ceramic bezel yet, and the only Sub with the maxi-dial is the green bezel LV model.

Should there be? Funny. I see it in the pictures but can't see it with the naked eye. I will have to take another picture tonight to see it therte is or it was dust.
