Reality check

Man, my CURRENT WIFE FOR NOW just busted my bubble. Get your minds out of the gutter. SHE just informed me that TRF does not stand for THE REDSHIRT FORUM!!! No kidding, that was her cute remark as she was leaving work early today because of rain. Just when I thought I was famous enough to stop paying for love.

I'm sorry to hear that , but what I'm really interested in is the rain! Is it actually raining in Georgia? Here in NC we really need some...

No, we need it in a bad way. They are predicting that if we do not get any real rain and if we keep sending our resources down river to support mussels in the gulf, Lake Lanier, Atlanta's main water source could be at emergency levels in 81 days.

Our Governor is filing suit with the Army Corps of Engineers to try to stop further water releases. It seems pretty dire unless we get several weeks of good rain.

Unfortunately, we are not that far behind you! I'm hoping we get our usual "rainy" winter this year.
