Any Rubber B guys out there?

Hello TRF...

I am thinking of putting a black RubberB on my GMT YG... just wondering how it would look...

Any photos guys?

Any feedback from Rubber B users?

Cheers!

Should look ok . . . gold with the black dial combined with a black rubber strap !

But I am a Oyster guy . . . like to wear them . . . and eat them . . . ;-)

Give it a shot

Love your watch . . . looks A M A Z I N G !

Maybe there's a TRF'er can Photoshop you an example . . .

I personally really like the rubber b look; but you may want to reach out to Etur (Eugene) and see if he can make you a set of end links to go with the rubber b, because the contrast of gold oyster end links and black rubber that follows that oyster look would simply be beautiful!

No need for end links as Rubber B are molded to fill the gap.

I always suspected that a nice thick brown leather strap could look really good on a 116718 but I have yet to see anyone try it. You should! :-)

I'm also considering a Rubber B. Having no experience with rubber straps I'd like to hear how they wear in humid wheather, do they stick to the wrist or pull on arm hair ?

TimeOneHand, hope you don't mind my piggybacking on your thread, thought the answear may interest you too.

I'll play, picked one up in Bangkok last month for my sub LV. Really impressed very good for hot weather if a little on the expensive side.

I love my Rubber B strap. Very comfortable. It'll definitely make your watch look more sporty. You should give it a try. I bet it would look great!

No I understand that, I just think the metal endlinks help finish off the case ala the Daytona on factory strap.

IMHO the Daytona on a strap would look better without the endlinks. It is obvious looking at them that they was designed to fit a bracelets look.

The Rubber B on the other hand just fits perfectly

I LOVE the RubberB but I don't know about it on an all gold watch. I'm waiting for it to become available for the SubC.

I think a Rubber B band looks amazing on a Rolex and I'm confident it would be lovely on a yellow gold model. However I would also recommend you to give a nice and somewhat thick (although not too much) leather band a try as well (and then, in this particular case, I would go with Etur endlinks).

Still, your idea sounds very good to me!
