Tool watch for a 186 mile cycle race

The GMT hand is counting down to my starting time. Once it reaches 24 the number of cycled hours can be read off the bezel. Almost, at least, since an offset of 28 minutes between hour and GMT hand isn't possible. Maybe for next year I should get a Yacht-Master II.

(Hopefully I won't need more than 24!)

Wish me luck.

Good luck.

Are you covering the 186 miles in one day?

Till next time...

The most I’ve ever done on my bike is 100 miles in one day. Took me thirteen hours up in Scotland. One heck of a lot of hills that day!

Till next time…

Very cool. I ride with my Gmt-C all the time, using a Rubber B band... (Watch is insured as I killed my DateJust this way some years ago...)

Good luck on your ride...

After hours of hard rain I couldn't feel my feet and my hands were shaking so much I couldn't drink my coffee. I almost fell off the bike a few times due to dozing off. At 230 km I curled up in a puddle at the back of the med tent, with my feet tucked into my knees, and slept for a few minutes and then poured hot drink into my shoes. The last 70 km weren't fueled by much more than determination.

I haven't slept 12 hours straight in years and years, until now.

Congrats on a awesome feat. I'm an avid rider, but I've never done more than a century ride in a day. You should be really proud of your accomplishment. Not too many people riding that distance in a day.

BTW, nice watch
