New 2 Tone DJ ll or Used Daytona

I have an opportunity to pick up a a mint condition S/S Daytona M serial or a brand new 2 Tone DJ ll with full warranty for the same price. Which one would you take? I can only afford one. Thanks

I would pick up a Daytona. I'm not big on TT and TT DJs don't usually have as big of a market if you want to sell it down the line.

If you already have a DJ and a GMT IIc, then I'd go Daytona.

Daytona, it's got the retained value, plus you'll be choosing an iconic Rolex model. However, you've got to ask yourself, which one do YOU like the most?

Daytona hands down. Two entirely different watches. Don't let the new/used issue confuse you. Sport or dress ... that is the question.

Daytona! Btw, you can probably pick up an almost brand new TT Daytona for the same price, then you have the best of all worlds. Check out the TT with the Panda dial, gorgeous piece! The slate TT Daytona is a beauty too.

Based on the watches you have already, I say Daytona.

DJII - I got rid of my previous watch because it became too annoying not to have a date function. Plus, the bezel on the DJII is so beautiful. I also prefer the look of a dressier watch over a sport watch.

Another Daytona vote here! But then again, I'm not a DJ2 or a TT fan.

I just went to the AD and tried both on the D/J ll is a little big b/c of the longer lugs but the fluted bezel is amazing. Daytona is the perfect size for my 6 in wrist but not as flashy. Hard decision.

Go for the Daytona. Personally I find the dj 2 ugly. If you really want a dj go for a dj 36mm.

I'd go with the DJ2 black roman.
