Ps3
Anyone else have one of these? I just got one (for the Blu-Ray function) and so went out and bought Need for Speed Carbon. Pretty awesome graphics, interactiveness etc.... It's very slick and am impressed with the cordless controllers and bluetooth remote - don't have to point it at the machine anymore!!!
Am thinking of getting Colin McRae now......does anyone have any cool game suggestions? Don't mind if it's a Doom type thing, or a duel type one or whatever...... |

I've had mine for a month now and used it once to play a game that I rented. The only reason why I bought it was for the 5 free blu-ray movies and I got $75 worth of accessories for free. I've played my 360 more often because there are more games available for it that I like.

The funny thing is I picked up a 360 HD-DVD player yesterday because it came with King Kong in the box, plus 5 HD-DVDs by mail-in rebate and season 1 of Heroes on HD-DVD. All the free HD DVDs equaled the cost of the player! Since I have both formats, I'm prepared for who ever wins the format war. As for games, I'm still waiting for some good PS3 only games. Tekken 6 is one that I'm keeping my eye out for. I also like the Final Fantasy series as well. To be honest, I prefer the ergonomics of the controller of the 360 over the PS3. |

The BRay movies are outselling HD at the moment 2-1. The war is not yet won by any means but if HD does end up winning, I'll wait and buy the recordable version. BRay more than suffices for now - and the player in the PS3 upscales regular DVDs anyhow.

We have one at work, along with the Xbox 360 and Wii.
I don't think I have ever touched any of them. |
