I don't know why, but I like it

Usually, I prefer not to have any jewels on a watch but if you're going to bling it out, might as well do it right

Not pretty IMO, especially on a man's watch. Worth a mint of money, but just not in my taste range. I could think of many cooler toys to get with the money. YMMV of course.

As always, I greatly admire Rolex's gemological skills . Be they to one's taste or not, the graduated setting of the multi-colored sapphires on the bezel is absolutely delicious and truly wonderful in execution. Its the same with the Leopard Daytona; I don't like the watch particularly, but I can't talk sh*T on the gem-setting. Impressive artistry, even if the look is...ahem...tacky? (IMHO).

That said, I generally prefer heavy gem-setting on someone ELSE's watch (preferably that of a lady) rather than my own! However, I'd happily take--and wear--a platinum DD with the glacier blue baguette/brilliant dial, if any well heeled members of the forum are feeling particularly generous.

Thanks for sharing the photos.
