3rd Party Rolex Purchase

I'm probably going to be purchasing my first Rolex GMT iic two tone this week, it will be my first. The seller is a third party who has a hardly has any wear on the watch. I will have the watch checked out by a authorized servicer.

What do you recommend I look out for?

Excited....

Definitely box and papers as stated above. Check to see that the serial numbers are matching if possible. Trust your gut, if something feels wrong, walk away. Better safe than 6-8K sorry!!

Wow! That's a good price! I would make sure it operates properly. Just make sure he/she is not unloading a faulty piece!! If it is all good, sounds like you are getting a great deal!!

Bracelet stretch, chips on edge of crystal and scratches in ceramic bezel, and dents. It is a fairly new model so stretch should not be an issue; however, pick it up by head with bracelet parallel to the horizon and see how it is hang'in. It is probably just fine.
