Unworn 2010 SS Daytona, Good deal?

Just looking to get into the SS Daytona market as I just sold my 2006 SS GMT.
I have found a 2010 "Unworn" V series for a firm price of 10000.00 out the door and on my wrist. Keep in mind I'm talking about Canadian dollars and a 12% tax, so my question is this, is a 2010 new SS Daytona V series for 10G a good deal, fair deal or a raw deal??

First Rolex have never made a series of any watch, the serial is just a approximation when the case was stamped. Now V serials started from around August 2008 right up till June 2010 but many serials overlap price seems fair.

you can do better on here when you consider your 12% tax

I agree with Peter. I recently purchased a U serial (1996-1997) SS Zenith Daytona as a complete set. A collector had bought it new in 1999, wore it a few times and put it away. I paid $10,000 for it and I am very happy with the deal. Considering a BNIB SS 116520 Daytona is now $12,000USD before any taxes, I would say you are getting a fair price. Does it come with boxes, tags, booklets etc.

Finally someone else who knows that! The serial number of any engraved rehaut rolex should not influence the price at all. It doesnt mean that the watch was made a certain year, just that the case was stamped a certain year. Thats why the random serial number started I think. Please correct me if im worng!
