Why can you only keep them for 10 years?? I can't imagine the resale value of cars that are approaching 10 years? |

Singapore is one of the world's most expensive places to own a car. They are heavily taxed by the government as a disincentive to own.You would need a certificate of entitlement ( which lasts 10 years)in order to be able to purchase a car and that can cost significantly as well.

A Certificate of entitlement to own a car (above 1.6liters) for 10 yrs currently stands at S$90k , thats more than AUD65k just for a bloody certificate and you havent even smell the car yet. wanna keep the car at the end of 10 yrs? Pay for another Certificate. well done singapore. |
