The lack of a date on the Daytona .... Tudor got it right on their chono's, wish Rolex did the same!
PCL's was also a minor issue for me initially, but really, after the first few weeks, those hairline scratches are sorta attractive. Gives the watch a 'worn as it should be' look. |

I'm not a fan of PCL's. I love my Daytona, but those 18k PCL's are a pain. I saw a solid 18k Daytona sitting in an AD's display window in San Diego. Brand spanking new and it had more faint hairlines than the one on my wrist as I write this. Just no way around it.

I wish the clasp on the Sub-c was a little smaller. If they could make the clasp on the GMT or Exp42 a glidelock then it would be perfect IMO.

I hate how the bracelet gets worn out or "stretched". But I think now a day, I just don't care any more

I hate absolutely nothing about my GMT-C. With every other Rolex I have owned, I can nit pick and find some small thing I disliked - not this one...

Only thing I'm "hating" about my SD at the moment is the scratch my wife's wedding ring put on my crystal.
Wouldn't mind the new adjustable clasp too, but other then that ALL love for the SD. |

Corporately, I do not care for the artificial scarcity successfully marketed with the SS Daytona and now being done with their entire line by shutting down distributors and going the boutique route. The continuous price increases are unwarranted as production cost are not increasing at anywhere near that rate. However, the price increases are part of the corporate drive for exclusiveness.
I do not care for many Rolex enthusiasts lack of appreciation of other great manufactures, and likewise those that throw rocks at Rolex. I really like people who love watches and have a true appreciation for them, and those that respect others likes even if they differ from their own. I do not care for PCL's, maxi cases, thickness of the DSSD, no date on Daytona, dive extension on the 14060M. Love the classic GMT II both pepsi and coke, Sea Dweller 16600, the 16610LV. Only current production sport model I really like is the 216570 as the larger diameter softens the maxi case and it looks proportioned to my eye. Really like the gosh more room that can be had with the easy fit on new bracelets. I really like the solid performance of the movements and that Rolex doesn't change models from year to year and moves slowly with change.

Keep it reasonably clean and this should not be a problem...

The only thing I don't like about mine has nothing to do with the watches and everything to do with rolex as a corp. the fact that they have draconian rules for parts replacement resulting in a thriving black market of parts at high prices. One of the things that I love about Omega.

That the bracelet on my 14060M is a flimsy POS compared to the Deepseas bracelet

I love rubber and leather strap options as well as the masterpiece Oyster bracelet.
One peave of mine is that I wish Rolex offered leather and rubber strap options for their watches (especially for the sport models), so that we don't have to look aftermarket such as Rubber B, Isofrane etc (although these are also great and many of us love these straps). Omega have got it right with their Planet Oceans; offering bracelet as well as rubber straps which both look and wear Über cool. |

I hate that there is such a tremendous premium on solid gold Rolex's .... $20k rather than $30k is a far more reasonable premium to pay ...
