BTW, she was head writer and actor on Saturday Night Live for some years prior to her new show, 30 Rock. I think she's great.

That reminds me of when my son was around three or four years old. He became enamored of the movie ET and would watch it over and over and over and over etc etc etc. This went on for what felt like years but was probably just weeks. It got to the point where I would be walking through the room and just absentmindedly recite the lines along with the characters. I knew that movie by heart and then some.

This was probably after his french movie The Red Balloon phase, when he was just learning how to talk and we would spend hours "discussing" "the balloon is red" "red is the balloon" "big balloon" "the ballon is red" etc.

I guess it was all worth it as he's now doing well in an academically challenging liberal arts college in the midwest, but I think I lost a few million brain cells due to crainial inactivity.
