The best AD in San Francisco is in Portland, Oregon.

Generally you're not going to get a large in stock selection AND a discount, especially since we're headed into holiday shopping season where the merchant rightfully wants to squeeze every possible dime of profit out of each sale.
The suburban 'smaller' independent jewelers who have AD status are your best bet, but they're not likely to have the wide selection you're after. There has been mention of the AD in Chinatown who is known to have given discounts, but I don't think their selection is very deep. I live in Marin and have heard great things about the San Rafael AD and the Corte Madera AD, and I've heard that Ad's in Berkeley and Contra Costa (the independents) are inclined to cut deals with pricing. Of course, your milage may vary. |

This thread is more appropriate here than on the WatchOut board.

If you are looking for a good discount or a daytona, you are probably looking at the wrong area. The chinese AD in SF will discount a bit, more if you pay cash. Selection wise, shreve is pretty good, but they don't put all the models in the case, so you'll need to ask them to take it out from the "vault".
