Icon8 Beware of Scam artist

To everyone out there looking to sell there expensive Rolex watches: I recently sold a watch on ebay to a guy named BRAD WENZEL located at 14232 Marsh Lane #159 Addison TX 75001-3857 Tel# (214) 264-1870 and he scammed me. He was the highest bidder and I sent my beautiful Rolex to him and he emailed me when he got it and said it was not what he expected, that the band was stretched and asked to have $1000.00 off, I told him no that the watch was not damaged in anyway and to send it back. He sent it back in a ziplock bag, with a broken crystal and a damaged band. the returned watch is not the watch I sent him, he pulled a con and switched the watches, he even kept the original box and paper work. I was SCAMMED. to make it worse Pay pal and ebay let him get away with this. So sellers BEWARE you may end up his next victim. I have seen googled him and found out I am not alone, several other people have simular postings, he also has a college friend whos father owns a store in Texas who sells used Rolexs' and i think he is parting them out through this store. BE CAREFUL

If I were you, I'd get a hold of the Local Texas Police and make them aware of this as soon as possible.

I am very sorry this happened to you.

From the sounds, you have done some research and sounds like a case. As stated above, I would contact the Police on this one without hesitation!

please disclose this scammer's ebay user id so we can all block him. i'm guessing you've already try to appeal paypal's decision? what did paypal tell you when you told them the watch you received back is not the same watch you've shipped? if all else fails, file a police report and send that to paypal.

Doing a quick calculation, he's spent almost $60g's in Rolex watches since the beginning of June.

Ebay and Paypal do not protect the sellers, they only protect the buyers, that's the reason why I never buy or sell anything more than $500.

I was scammed out of a Rolex in TX and the local police told me that it wasn't their problem and I should file with my local police. Had to get it taken care of on my own. What's the name of the jewelry store? The guy that ripped me off was associated with a jewelry store as well, but the store backed me and got me my money back :-)

I do not use ebay are you telling me that you sold a guy a watch. He paid for it then changed his mind he was refunded the money before you had the watch returned and in hand?

This is crazy even if I return something to a store (online or not) the item is inspected before I get a refund...how did this happen?

Sorry to hear that. I dont know where you are or if its worth going to Texas for you to do but if you really want to you can file a small claims suit against him in Texas.

Absolutely, file a small claim suit against him in Texas with the value of the watch and all other expenses incurred. Make sure you get a police report first to get the ball rolling. I'm sorry to hear about your experience.

Treat others as you would like to be treated

To all...i only want what is listed and described..period.
Starak01 sent me a ..worked and repaired 80% band on a 179178 for 10.5k. So i disputed and shipped it back.. The same any legit dealer would do. Then he called me 35 times and threatened me, my family especially mentioned my son, Preston and also told me to watch my back....many people try to list a pos on ebay and i will call them out on bs deals. I have spent over 16 million on ebay so yes i know the ins and outs.... If anyone tries to scam me it will not happen. Moral of the story is treat others how you would like to be treated and yes karma is legit.. For anyone..actually its God who knows what everyone does and does not. People who blame others are usually to blame themselves! God bless us all..
