Recommendations on where to buy dial for my Daytona

I have a 2005 TT Daytona Slate Dial(see profile pic). I have been debating on switching the dial to something different. Perhaps a Newman style or maybe even a white one. Any recommendations on where to buy one at a reasonable price? I have checked eBay, looking for alternatives. Can't see spending $2k to change out the dial when that won't add much in the way of resale.

I bought a panda dial from an ebay seller awhile ago...

If you're interested I'll resell. Obv would need your slate too.

Prices have basically doubled in twelve months from what i've
seen unless you want something undesirable.

I have a 116523 and would need dial from same. pm me.

The change would be for your own satisfaction, right? Future resale value may never matter until you flip this watch out for some reason.

If you consider having 2 dials, you would have a better chance finding a buyer who would like one or the other looks. Then you sell the remaining dial after the future watch sale.

You may actually have a small gain overall.

Myself would wait till service time then have the dial changed as they have to strip watch down so no extra labour cost, but Rolex will only change the dial to whatever that model has listed.If you go the other route some want to charge two arms and a leg for the dial that in most cases would be cheaper from Rolex on a exchange bases.

Yea. If I can find one at the right price I will buy it and have both. The slate is nice but there are times when it justs looks blah. Want something with a little more pop and presence.

I bought a black dial from a forum member for my tt 116523 daytona, payed 320 euros..found this to be a reasonable price for a mint dial....

Funny you said this about your slate dial. I had never considered the slate dial for the tt Daytona I had been thinking of buying, until I saw a couple at watch shops. I had been strongly leaning towards a white dial. When I saw the slate version I was very impressed with the overall look. You're right that the slate is a bit more understated, but I find it to be a less "jarring" contrast with the stainless and really very classic.

Don't get me wrong the slate is very nice. In certain lighting there is nothing better. In certain lighting it just has no presence.
