Does DSSD have laser etched crown ?
I'm wondering does the DSSD have a laser etched crown and does it have the serial number in the rehaut.

i don't think rolex put serial number on the movement.
i am assuming you are talking about the serial number of the watch

There is a COSC serial number/certification number on the movement. But, as stated, this is not the serial number of the watch.

Yes to both, but the serial number on the rehaut is hard to read due to the curved shape of the watch cover glass an the angle.

+1. There is a number stamped on the mainplate of each movement, though it is a different one than the serial number you see engraved on the case or rehaut and appears on your warranty card (or paper).
This is not unusual to Rolex, and can be seen on quite a few brands, particularly the more prestigious ones. On the "Certificat d'Origine" accompanying a Patek Philippe, for example, that document also notes a unique serial number for the movement inside that particular watch. |
