Thoughts on this 1675?

Jacek's just put this up (too lazy to find the post on this forum).

I like the way it looks. Sad about the replaced date disc. Should that be the thing that keeps us apart?

It's not too bad but it depends what you are looking for???

The lugs look like they have had some unfortunate polishing. The top crown guard looks thicker than the bottom crown guard.

There is a high level of corrosion to the hands.

Otherwise it is a fair example.

its got a great bracelet. i dont think that the date discis such a big deal. frankly it matches up with the dial plots and hands better. although not original. its easy to swap back if you source the correct part. nice watch and a good seller - you know that it wont be a hoopdie when you wear it home.

Thanks. Why do 1675s always have corroded hands? Is this the materials, or do these cases just take on moisture in a way subs don't?

You can always source the correct date wheel, the watch is in pretty good shape for the price IMHO...

to me it looks all original, insert including

not sure why jacek says the date wheel is replaced as it clearly has open 9s but looks white, not silver.

worth asking him if he's made a typo

deal breaker to me are the lugs. soft as a mouse's ear.

corrosion not an issue as it's barely visible when in the wrist and this one shows average corrosion

i like an unpolished / NOS case but i'd need to see it up close holding it to make up my mind whether it could take a full polish to restore the chamfers

X2 and I think it's a good example for the price coming from a trusted seller.

It is offered in the for sale section here too, I asked about the date disc discrepancy but got no answer.

for the thickness of the crown guard,i have some question

http://10pastten.com/inventory/detai...?item_id=TA585

why on this 1675/3 the top crown guard also looks thicker then the buttom one

i also see the same issue on my 1675/3

are these all because of over polish?

The bracelet is non-original, but the watch is in pretty decent condition for its age.

The date wheel discrepancy has me wondering too.
