I would imagine pretty inflated. Now I am in fairness in no position to comment, having never been there but I would guess their 'celebrity' status allows them to charge a larger premium than most bricks and mortar shops.

I`ll wager that you`ll get a better deal here on TRF every day of the week and twice on Sundays!
Why would you pay retail + tax? |

Let us know what you find and if you can snaps some pics that would be awesome. MoBe's comment is spot on, but let's see what they have there.

A buddy of mine visited the shop and said everything in there was overpriced. I don't see why Rolex would be different. Many of the items from the show are not even for sale. I'm not sure whether that's because of their wait period or if they're just not for sale.

I saw two SS subs (in rough condition) for ~$7500 last November there... WAY to high, and while i know you can talk them down, still to high of an asking price.

From watching the show they have signs saying "no pictures in this direction" but Im sure you can get away with a few. Id love to see what their selection is like, I can catch a glimpse at their cases and it looks like they are full of Swiss made goodness.

I had a friend go about 3 months ago. He said prices were on par with most other stores. Said the only obsursd thing was a Daytona and it was a few k high. Pawn shops aren't the places to find these wonderful deals anymore. Shop owners know what they have and know what they can get for it. Anyway I'd say those guys are doing pretty well. Even before the show it looks like they ran a pretty successful business.

I went in there a couple months ago with my wife. I enjoy the show, but its amazing how staged and fake it really is. Every "seller" is an actor and the items are just props. This is why the items on the show arent for sale, or theyre just so insanely overpriced no one can afford to even attempt to purchase it. Most of these items are on loan from other shops around vegas....ie some of the guitars brought in to the shop by the "seller" are actually the property of Cow Town Music or whatever the shop is that always gets used as the "expert" of musical instruments.
Now that this is out of the way, onto the actual shop itself. Its insanely over priced. Everything. The entire back half of the store is "I Love Chumlee" souvenirs. The front half is merchandise. My wife said all the jewelry in there was 4 times what a jewelry store would charge you. $5000 for a .25 carat diamond ring....really? You can take pics of anything in the store except the cash register area. Also if you think youll catch a glimpse of the stars you wont. Not even if theyre there. We were there for 10 mins then they came over the loud speaker and said they were closing the store in 10 mins because they were about to film a scene for an upcoming season. If that doesnt say "staged reality tv" then i dont know what does. Trust me, theres better, and cheaper places to buy a Rolex or anything for that matter. Its not even a pawn shop anymore its a tourist attraction |

Prices are high. We were there on a day they were filming. They let a few people in at a time until they were done.
People were mainly buying Chumlee t-shirts :D

Was there (in Vegas) a few weeks ago, never made it there, but almost everyone told us that unless you go there early (before 11am), the main guys are gone... Most sales are "show" stuff, t-shirts, etc...

I went just to see Rick, the Old Man, Big Hoss but mostly Chumley. All of the Rolex watches were overpriced and too gawdy - too much bling ! ! ! but, that's Vegas.
Best part of the trip was that Chumley was outside the shop selling hotdogs. |

i wouldnt be suprised if they bump the price because they are a famous shop featured on tv.
some people will usually pay more to be able to say "I bought it from that Pawnstars shop on the tv show" sadly the shop is aware of this and can try it on. |

Now who in their right mind wouldn't pay a few $K more for a Rolex when you can say that you bought it from the remarkably astute, charming and brilliant Chumley?

You can not take pictures pointing to where the cashier registers are... Everywhere else is ok... You can take pictures of all the watches and super bowl rings...

I'm sure everybody saw the episode when Big Hoss taught Chumley how to spot a fake Rolex?? And he passed with flying callers. I think it was the same episode when some guy came calling at night and wanted to sell a tacky aftermarket Gold president with lots of diamond bling on it. Chumley woke Rick out of bed to make the deal. Great show!

I believe they are open to negotiations (according to the show). I tried to make my way over there when I was in Vegas last August...but lets just say I didn't have the time
