Watch on a map

Where did the thing of taking a picture of your watch on a map come from?

Pre-forum I'd never seen it before. Like it though; love a good map.

My neighbors husband had passed away a couple of years ago and I bought a couple of box's of misc. stuff at his estate sale recently. I happened to end up with his old Illinois aeronautical maps. They make a nice background for the GMT's!!
