I love them

I have had several and have one still

They make some great waches and make them extremely well.
They are owned by the Spanish Festina group who also own Soprod.
This gives them access to some great movements and modules . It also gives them the ability to be extremely flexible with design

They were commissioned by Richard Mille to make the movements for some of their watches. during this collaboration the learned a lot about modern design. The influence is apparent in some of their dials.

The one I have is the Skeleton Rattrapante. The movement is a Soprod built 7750 with Soprod's own Rattrapante module. It looks great and works very well.
caution needs to be applied to buying these. They are heavily discounted and often in the hands of closeout sellers.

IMO purchased at the right price , ownership can be quite residual safe. However if you make the mistake of paying full retail, you will lose your shirt on it.

I'm afraid I haven't seen a lot of their models but as far as I know Perrelet does make some beautiful timepieces! I quite like them actually!

That's really nice Mark. You won't be disappointed with the quality. They are incredibly well made.

I've seen some of their timepieces in person in a Hong Kong boutique. I think the coolest ones were their turbine models. They had a spring loaded arm that would occasionally snap and activate the turbine function...great for getting the attention of passerbys!

I got one of the turbine watch.........it's a fun watch to wear. People always look and stare at it......lol.

The turbine watches look like a novelty Swatch to me rather than a high quality time piece. Overall, I think it's just a lack of brand awareness.

True, they look that way in a photo. But hold one in your hand and it is a whole different story.

I find some of the Perrelet lines a little gimmicky and flashy for my liking. However, my wife loves the double rotor diamond flower with rubys model. The petals, bezel, and case shoulders are loaded with ice (Wesselton Brilliant cut VSI's, no less) all hand set. The movement is a modified ETA which is hand decorated by their own watch makers. They are heavily discounted - 40 to 60% being normal, so don't buy retail or you will take a depreciation licking!!

Perrelet has recently announced that they will introduce their own manufactured movement in most of their lines. I guess ETA wants to sever the connection, as they are doing with many other watch manufacturers not in their fold, so Perrelet is making the move to a full manufacture.

40th Wedding Anniversary (Ruby) coming up soon, maybe???!!!
