Help with a 1630

Hello all,
I just picked up a 1630 for under 3K. I thought it was a great deal and have been wanting one as my dad wears the same watch. I just received it and all looks good but I noticed the tritium markers on the chapter ring seem to have been removed. I was wondering if this was normal for these watches as most examples I have seen on the web still have them intact.

Here is some more info on the watch:

5.5 mil
Band: 96673
Clasp: Steelnox G 14 No other marking with the exception of the Rolex logo and Registered Swiss Made.
Hands: Are pitted and do not glow.

I have an option to return if not happy so wanted to make sure everything sounded and looked right to the experts out there. Should I be concerned about the markers being removed? Was this done as they commonly fell off and interfered with the hands?

Thanks for your help.

One of my 1630 tritium markers at 1 o'clock fell off if that is any consolation to you. And the rest does not glow in the dark so what the heck. Get a new dail and a set of hands - hands do not glow either.

I actually ended up passing on that watch but did find one one with all the tritium markers intact.
