What to do????
16 days until we close on the new diggs and after that the boss has given me the OK to buy a new watch.I have a Pepsi MII so I want something in black,,LN or a MIIc.A bigger crown is a must which both have,,both have the same case,,IIc has the polished centers but that is an easy fix,I just like the old school look,,,don't really like the bigger bezel numbers on the IIc but do like the GMT look,,kind of tired of the cyclops because I can't read the date unless I look over the top of my glasses and the look of the Sea-Dweller is growing on me.Had a new Sub no date(last of the old style) that I sold here a few months ago,,,that I should have kept!!,,but I like the blue lume too!SOOOO what to do???Sub or MIIC and remove the cyclops or just go straight for the no date??Let me know gang!!Oh and here's a shot of the new house!!

Congrats on the new house. If you're mad you sold the 14060m replace it, or I'd you want a date and hate the cyclops SD it is!

Nice new home there! Congrats!! I just closed on a home last week as well and have been given the green light to purchase my first Rolex as well. I'm away at work until the 18th but after that I go to pick it up. I'm grabbing it from an AD in the south. 2005 gmt II. Just serviced from rolex dallas. Originally coke bezel but I've got the AD to find an all black bezel for me and their swapping it out.
I just thought it was humorous to read a post of someone who's been in the same boat as me for the last month or so. I, like you, like the gmtc but don't want the pcl. Also....I do like the bezel but it makes the watch appear larger and with the larger sides of the case I don't think it "matches" the width of the bracelet. So although it's nice it's just not as perfectly aesthetically pleasing as the original. Make sense? I also think this ceramic version will prove to be a transitional watch in the end. Sometimes if it ain't broke don't fix it....but that's just me. Congrats again!!! |

Ceramic Sub ND...based on your criteria you get your blue lume and no cyclops plus the bracelet and ceramic bezel is an upgrade to your old sub.
