Incoming! TRF has killed my Panerai collection
I joined TRF a little over a year ago and has shifted my all-Panerai collection towards Rolex.
In a relatively short time I've picked up a Sub ND, White SS Daytona, and now a YG DD incoming I have two more PAMs to flip for Rolex Please share how TRF influenced your collection |

Awesome! Sounds like you have definitely upgraded your collection for the better. Let's see some before and after pics! :)
btw, congrats on the YG DD |

I sense your remaining PAMs won't last too long then! I'd definitely hold onto one if I were you. I do love the feel of PAMs on the wrist |

I'd keep one.

I went through a pretty serious Panerai phase a couple of years ago but a 305 is all that remains.
Almost exclusively Rolex and AP at this point. Congrats on your transition. |

I like the 233. But can't go wrong with more Rolexes

TRF impacted my collection a bit differently. Bought my first Rolex, a TT Blue Sub back in 07, found TRF & bought a few more over the years but PAM pics gradually won me over. Got my first PAM, a 312, a year ago & that was the beginning of the end for my love of Rolex... flipped them all except for the SubC which is also now listed for sale due to a lack of interest in wearing it. Picked up the 372 a few months back & have never been happier watch-wise... Panerai is the only thing getting wrist time for me these days.. different strokes for different folks.

I've had a few watches since I first joined an Internet forum back in 2007, namely this forum. Tried Panerai, too, but Rolex is the brand for me. Sent from my iPhone 4S using Tapatalk

Good choice moving out of panerai. I see them from time to time and I think they're dying off a bit. If they were smaller and thinner I might like them but they have this image which I personally do not like.
Oh well, just my opinion. Good move! Carry on Sent from my using Tapatalk

7.5 wrist here... fits perfectly. I've tried working Rolex back into the rotation but they just look too small on me these days. Agree regarding diversity, that's why I have a many killer straps, lol.

I've had many opportunities to try out the DSSD & can appreciate why some love it but it's not the watch for me. I'm just over the styling of Rolex, enjoyed wearing them for years but that ship has sailed... maybe my interest will return at some point in the future but in the meantime I will continue to thoroughly enjoy the hell out of my PAMs.
If you weren't directing the DSSD suggestion towards me please disregard my post. |
