TO ME: Letters look engraved not stamped Letter Spacing is wrong to me Font is real real odd S in Switzerland is to far to the right (not under the O) this throws off all the rest of the words lining up. Interested to hear what you see http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-GMT-16...item3f1d7cd45b |

If you can compare it to other casebacks of similar vintage you have a fighting chance of determining authenticity otherwise you`ll have to rely on the opinion of vintage collectors.
I`m suspicious of the I 69 part of the stamping,it looks too much the same as the rest,it should look different in my opinion. |

It is very different from these two examples...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-ROLE...item2a23d8dd62 http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-ROLE...item2a23d87ef0 But I am not worried for watchmakers who might be buying vintage case backs - they ought to know how to spot a fake.
