Icon3 Rolex Green Box Poll

the green wave pattern boxes for the men's lines (not sure about ladies or cellini b/c i've never had one with boxes) seem to be getting long in the tooth imho... it's been over a decade anyways...

i think its time for a change, so, what style, pattern, materials would you like to see in the next gen rolex boxes???

here's some choices i think should cover most bases BUT please comment too...!

let's have at it!

It's the wood that makes it good.

Exactly what Jake B said! I love opening up my dad's Rolex box, and seeing the GMT inside! It honestly is a nice box!

I say leave the boxes as they are, although I guess eventually Rolex will change them.

What I don't want to see is boxes that will add substantially to the cost with no real benefit, except a fancy box that no one really needs.

I love my Hublot box. Nice and heavy. Rolex needs to compact it!

Has anyone seen the new Breitling boxes?
Going from a very nice bakelite box to a cardboard box...
(That's 1 of the reasons I am happy I sold my Breitlings)

I hope Rolex won't do that!

Its just a box a packaging box and in general Rolex boxes are not the best around. Myself bought all my Rolex watches for the watch it self and not for any packaging box no matter the colour or material.

As usual, very well said Grady. I completely concur.

On one hand, it's just a box, on the other hand, opening it for the first time is part of the "ceremony"....Myself, I like the green, but, maybe there's a way to spruce up the inside? Dunno. I never thought "man, I wish the box were nicer", but, I'm sure I probably would have enjoyed it if it had been nicer.

Don't care for the boxes; they take up too much space and I don't ever use them. If Rolex came in the green service pouch instead of a box, I'd be fine with that

I think a box inside a box, inside another box would be kinda cool. With each one more elaborately decorated than the last. Bit like King Tut's coffins. Then finally, jackpot, the funeral mask. Or in this case, a Rolex!
