Yeah, I just bought a Dunhill quaint shape "EQ" from 1919. A very small pipe like they were in those early Dunhill days, but still in very good condition.

Anyway, I won't by the DD, yet, but might get a Rolex that has an "M" in the model name!

DON'T do that, Bo. If you've got your heart set on the DD (and I don't blame you for that beauty), then save up and get the DD only.

If you buy some other model just for the sake of buying it, you will then realise you do have just that "extra" to get the DD and you will want to flip the one you get at a loss.

I have to agree with JJ! I know the DD is expensive, but if it's what you ultimately want, why buy 'placeholders'? I've come to realize this myself.

Half the fun is deciding what you want and 'planning'....it can take years, but it's a great goal. For a while I thought my 'next' would be another sports model - but I've realized my ultimate sports model is the 16610 I ALREADY have.

So now I will start saving for my DD

However long it takes, it will be worth it.

I know you'll get yours sooner than you think Bo
