Vintage Large Black Coffin Watch Box
I just acquired this vintage black Rolex coffin style watch box. I will be selling it shortly but I don't know anything about it. It is over 10" long and 3" high. It's a pretty big coffin box and I have not seen anything like this.
I'm not sure if the numbers on the back have the year in them but I am wondering if it is from the 70s? It's a beautiful black leather exterior with an ultrasuede interior. It has two small spots from pen marks that someone tried to clean. Any clues? I'm almost certain it is a man's watchbox. Anyone ever see anything like this? I have collected quite a few old boxes and sold quite a few but have never seen anything like this one. It's not in any of my books either or on the internet. I'm trying to determine a value but I am clueless on this one. |

I'm pretty sure it belongs to the "Cellini" Range being a black box.
