A Crown for Every Acheivement
I love the idea of celebrating a special occasion with a crown. Here is what I would do.
College Graduation- Sub (or GMT, Explorer), the quintessential sports watch. Will work with anything life throws you as a 20 something. First Born- TT Datejust- The mature, sensible watch with class. Progression from days of youth to being a father. Big Promotion- YG President- The "I made it watch" This watch is a statement that you have achieved. What do you guys think? |

Not bad until you start feeling like you need one every year.

Y'know, that's EXACTLY how I decided my life would go. I'm still at the 20-something stage, but I agree wholeheartedly!

Sounds good, but I only have a sub so I'm behind schedule!

You left out retirement - that's where I'd slot the President.
The promotion deserves an Explorer II - 'cuz you'll be going into uncharted territory

I did almost that exact same thing...
My parents bought me a Sub when I graduated medical school. I bought myself a Navitimer when I got selected for flight surgeon training (sorry wasn't ready for a GMT) When I turned 30 I got myself an Explorer II. Next is likely going to be a Datejust on a Jubilee or a Milgauss. |
