GMT IIc bezel problem!!!!
The bezel on my watch was getting a little sticky so i removed it and came to find out that the problem was the actual small gasket that holds the bezel in place. t almost looked as if it had came out of place and got pinched between the watch and the bezel so it was making the bezel hard to spin. then i realized that due to what was happening the actual gasket had stretch out quiet a bit and now i am not able to place the bezel back because the gasket is too big now and it doesnt sit well wheere is supposed to.
so my question is, does anyone know where i can get that gasket? is it available so i can place it back on my self??? |

your going to have to find a watchmaker with a rolex parts account. He will put it in for you.
you could too its not that hard but i would let the watchmaker do it unless you are confident in your bezel abilities :) |

Thank you, it does seem pretty easy nd if i were to be able to find the part i would do my self but if i have to i will have it done.
maybe someon here at TRF is able to give a hand getting the part or pointing me in the right direction. Quote:

You have heaps of guts mate, I would not mess with ceramic bezels. The old ones are no problem, that was the good thing about them.

As you all know Rikki is a great guy... He called me this morning and was very very helpful.
Thank you Rikki. Unfurtunatly he informed me that rolex will not sell the gasket to anyone, so the watch most got into rolex and get the gasket replaced!!!! And it looks like such a small thing... so such a simple piece! Oh well it is what it is so of to rolex it goes lol... |

It is held in place with a little nylon ring, which has to be replaced when you put it off.... Not like the old ones.
