With the easy glide clasp does it matter if it is a full extension all the time or should I put a link back in and have it all the way in. First time I have had this type of clasp. Sorry if its a dumb question. Thanks.

you should first find the best most comforting fit with links, and then adjust with the glidelock.

that way you can extend or decrease the size to your preference depending if you're wearing it over something or under something.

or as my gf says, incase I gain weight and lose weight

For my SubC, I have 4.5 links on the 12 o'clock side and 4 links on the 6 o'clock side.
Then I adjust my Glidelock until the fit is perfect. It's usually 3-4 notches from fully extended (depending on the weather/humidity).

Unless you plan to wear your DSSD over a wet suit or over an article of clothing (for whatever reason),
it doesn't really matter if it's all the way in or fully out.

It doesn't "matter" no.

However having it fully extended probably means you should add a link in and adjust the glidelock less.

I fit my DSSD where the glidelock has the maximum amount of adjustment. My wrists swell a lot depending on temperature and workload. Really like this feature, the one on my Daytona is just not enough. Best of luck! And enjoy your DSSD

If it is fully extended for a proper fit, you'll have no range of adjustment so an extra link is better.

I'd set it so its normally in the middle.

I have 5 links on either side and I left the divers ext in, I adjusted the glidelock for fitment, seems to work well, I took out one link, can't remember which side though.

Do you still have the diver's extension link installed, John?

Adjust the bracelet such that there's and equal amount of length on both sides and the clasp sits in the middle of your wrist. Try this with the glidelock fully retracted if possible. This way, if you need extra length, you have the maximum amount of "play" to work with.
