Authentic Sub on eBay?
I have no clue what to look for. Is this Sub authentic?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=221150922028 Someone told me it looks like a fake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah the price is several hundred dollars too high but there's a best offer link. I can't seem to find one on here so I might have to resort to ebay. :(

Taking into consideration that the watch is on the Bay, which includes appx. 6% in fees, i.e., the seller would be clearing at the listed price around $5,700, that is a pretty good price.
Since you are in Florida, maybe a face to face could save you some $$$s.. |

Hes pretty far from me, almost a 6hr round trip. Besides that though, I had asked him for some specific pictures of the Sub and he kept coming up with excuses?
I'll just wait and deal with a reputable seller here on TRF where they have no problem showing up close detailed shots and if asked for different shots will take them for you instead of coming up with stupid reasons why they cant. Thanks everyone! |

Wow, $6100 is insane.
Sometimes eBay doesn't offer the best prices because eBay and Paypal take around 10% of the sales. |

Well the price is too high for sure. But that isn't a surprise to me. Everyone thinks there watch is worth more than it is. But I am a bit dumbfounded on a few things. 1. Why is it in a current Rolex box when it is definitely a per-current model. 2. Why does it have a Rolex issued plastic card. I could be very very wrong but I don't think that year model came with those things. But if they did then I'd say no question about it. Nonetheless the box looks real and so does the card so I'd say it's real. The person who thought it might be fake is probably wrong. Remember that you have the older model (one pictured) and the current model which I favor which has a larger lug and a ceramic and engraved bezel. Which I really love. But I'd say pass on this one. Way to high!

I agree with everyone that his price is high but eBay will take about $200 and so will Paypal. The seller doesn't except to get his asking price, that's why there's a best offer.

After looking over some FS threads here today I dont think his asking price is too far off. Most long time sellers on TRF are selling "M" 16610s for around $5800-$5900. Add 3% Paypal fee and youre at $6000-$6100. Of course Id never pay asking price. :)
