Date ......
Don't know about you all, but today I decided to wear my Daytona and was out of sync all day long. I only wear it about once or twice and month and today again showed me why. I can't stand not having the date on my watch. I know that everyone says "its on your phone", but its not the same.
Man I love my SubC Date!!!!! Anyone else addicted to the date function on their watch??

No as I rarely need to know the date when I am not at my compter

As far as I'm concerned the date function is useful but I can live without it!

A date is not worth putting up with a bubble but I can't read the date on my DSSD. Toss up.

I tried to convince myself that I did not need a date.
I do though. I won't go back. I'd get rid of the cyclops, but not the date.

I just think the date completes a watch...and I do find myself taking a glimpse when I forget which day of the month it is.

Daytona's are for fast people with good memories.
That's my homage to a Ferrari engineer's reply to a customer complaining about small brakes on the sports car - he said something like at Ferrari we make cars go fast not to stop. IMHO - do not want to see a price hike on the Daytona just to get a date function that only helps the 2% who forget the date. Give in to this and the next thing you know someone will want a DD-Daytona

As long as I know the day of the week, that's good enough for me!

Well I don't know about you but given that I don't have more than two days off a month I'm always looking forward to them!

I enjoy having a watch that doesn't have a date sometimes. Imho Its nice to not have to set a date for an occasional watch.

Need a date as well. It's just more natural to me to glance at my watch vs looking at my phone/computer.
I don't mind watches without date if they're dress watches that I use for formal occasions. In which case it's more like jewellery and not so much a tool anymore. Heck, I don't even need my dress watch to work very well as long as it "looks" the part. Lol Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

I definitely prefer a date. It seems that when I wear a watch without it, I am looking for it!

I find it wholly unnecessary for a watch to display the date. It's changes slowly enough (once per day) that I can keep up with it.
