Icon20 I think this combo works!

16713 on Black NATO with PVD Buckles!

Well TRFer's I'm writing to you because I am stumped. My dad's GMT TT Bracelet (12 Side) is getting rattled with scratches, dings and such. I'd like for him to find something that isn't expensive, because he is very cheap; to switch back and forth. The Rubber B is expensive and he says it feels too cheap, and the Everest he's never seen before and is a little "too" expensive he says for rubber. He hates NATO straps, and now I'm stumped.

I've found some cheap 20mm Fits Rolex Lugs (Curved Ends) on e-Bay for like $20. Help me out guys! Thanks and have a great week!

I'm sure you like it, which is great but to my mind it looks horrific.

Either way wear it in health and happiness.

The combo doesn't look bad Adam but you know I'm not a NATO fan, how about a nice and not too expensive leather band instead?

Great picture my friend!

I think it looks pretty bad.

Mainly because you have gold, black and then SS. If there was no SS it would look better.

Haha, I realized it doesn't look the greatest. It's back on my dad's wrist with the TT Oysterlock Bracelet!

A nice leather band would be the key.

Adam, slightly more than you want probably want to pay, have a look at Jed's leather straps. Would compliment the watch well. Good luck.

I think your dad would enjoy a leather strap. Plenty of examples here and on Ebay.
Falls nicely between a "cheap" Nato and a pricey SS replacement

My dad wants the TT Oyster all the time on the watch, but he wears the crap out of it! I don't think he likes leather.

I think Nato is not a good choice for a GMT master. The watch would like a nice black leather strap.

I have a TT sub but it does not get any wrist time because there isnt much occasion it would fit in. And I am afraid to scratch the TT band. So either I sell it or use it. It is such a beautiful watch that I cannot part with it.

I then found a NATO band that would make it more of a daily watch and it now has more or less same wrist time as my other SS sub and daytona.

It does not matter as long as you use your rolex and not keep it in your winder.

You cannot please everybody.

I think it's a good sporty, casual look. I don't necessarily think the stainless buckle on the strap flows with the YG, but it doesn't look awful....

It's definitely a good look for the workin' man!

Alright. I'm buying a rubber strap on eBay that fits nicely (like a rubber b) into the case. The question is....

Gold or Stainless buckle for a TT watch?
