How about this look?

Tried something different today.

LV on vintage distressed dark green leather.

Thanks bud! I needed some variety, something to hold me over until bonus time when I can afford a new watch. :)

Not for me, but put a faded Sub bezel insert and I think you have a winner.

Not sure yet if it is for me either, i just made the swap an hour ago. I really do think Rolex sport models look best on OEM bracelet.

With that said, I needed a change in pace and this ought to hold me for a while.

I don't mind the look, though I'd prefer it on a bracelet.

I thought I read somewhere recently that dive watches weren't meant to go together with leather straps. That's of no consequence though, because as you said, only you can speak the truth in this matter. If you like it, go for it.

Steel only for me. I don't like a dive watch on a strap that can't get wet.

Whatever winds your watch!

I think part of what makes Rolex so successful is the way their watches look with the bracelets designed for them. Not that the occasional departure doesn't add to the look, but the bracelets Rolex designs really compliment their watches.

Why can't you get a leather strap wet Joe? Cows can swim.

I think it looks great! Especially the darker one in the wrist shots. The more you can change things up, the better, IMO.
