Meteorite models

Just got back from Maui and I saw a Meteorite Daytona ($40k) and Meteorite lady date just (11K), they are both beautiful. Anyway, are there more meteorite mens rolex models or is it limited to just the Daytona? I have been thinking about them both since I left the store.

I was just in Maui too... and saw these Meteorite's, they were really beautiful. Yeah not answering your question, but they were great looking pieces.

Thanks PaulG. now i know that i'm not going to be able to afford them right now DD and the Daytona is too much money. They will just remain in my dreams.

Here's my favorite. I'm lucky to have it. Once I saw it, couldn't sleep until I owned it. Just wish I could take better pictures like the experts here.

The color would be perfect with a rose gold watch...I would put one on my RG DD in a second if they would make one without diamonds.

Yes they are very good looking Rolex dials but quite over priced IMHO now Meteorite dials are not rare in real terms, just not many are produced in proportion to the many others. One thing to watch out for with some meteorite dials is rust, Ni-Fe meteorites are almost pure iron and most will rust pretty easily if they're not treated/coated and completely sealed . You can identify a meteorite by its Widmanstatten pattern.Today Rolex uses for there meteorite dials material from the Gibeon meteorite, the Gibeon had a very high nickel content, so it's very stable and basically won't rust. And the main cost is not so much the material around $5-$6 a gram for real top quality slices, its the labour cost process to produce a perfect dial.
