I wear mine everyday, but with my precious metal models, I do take more care of them as they scratch more easily. I don't know about everyone else, but I treat a $30k+ gold Rolex differently from my $50 plastic Nike watch ....

The new SubCs are very durable and show very little wear at all. More than one occasion (sometimes drunkingly), I've scraped my sub across a brick wall or hit some object. I wear it everywhere... beach, woods, gym. And the only thing noticeable is some hairline scratches on the bracelet that most people get from desk diving. The ceramic bezel is something else. Has held up very nicely! Love the rolex durability.

I wear mine in pretty much any and all situations. Just the other day I was moving all my deck furniture back outside after having stored it all in my garage for hurricane Sandy. I chuckled thinking... "I'm wearing a $12K watch to wrestle this heavy metal furniture all over my house and yard" as I wore my DSSD proudly! Turns out it didn't even get touched. While my G-Shock may have been a better choice I just love wearing my Rolex. I mowed the grass in my Explorer II for the last time of the season as well. I wouldn't think twice about wearing any of my watches for nearly any task short of masonry or concrete work, that's simply dumb (IMHO of course)

Wear your Rolex and enjoy man, however just like when you wear anything that is valuable, extra care and an awareness of where your wrist is doing is always good. But I would not worry too much if a scratch happen anyway, its the watch war dent and it tell a story so I never polish any of my watch either.

Yep agreed. It's a watch.
Look after it, it's expensive. But wear it.
Life's too short.

I wear every watch I own. They are meant to be worn although everyone is free to do as they will.

I am a firm believer that no one on their death bed ever said, "I wish I had spent more time at the office" or "I wish I hadn't worn my Rolex as much". We're on this Earth for such a short time....enjoy those things that make us smile!

Well, i just wear most of my watches, but I have to admit, I do refrain from wearing my Navitimer in most situations. I got that watch for a special occasion and I'd like to keep it 'special'...

Aside from that, these things tell time, I need to know what time it is... Perfect match, I need to wear them, and first and foremost my GMT.

I've owned my DJII for 9 months and have worn it every day except one day. The one day I didn't wear it I was busy hauling landscaping bricks all day.

As everyone has been saying, "wear it and enjoy it" cause life is too short. When you die that pretty Rolex will either get worn by your family or sold to take care of other needs.

Wear it and enjoy it, life too short anyway.
I had my Submariner 16610 serviced after 12 years and it came back like new.
