Superb Rolex accuracy

Hi guys,
I'm pretty new to this forum but been around for a while on a few of the others. Anyway, I have owned three Rolexes, all recent models. I must say I am very impressed with not only their craftsmanship but their accuracy. I had a GMTIIc and a Sub C and now I own the Exp II (42mm). ALL have been accurate to within a second per day. I will keep this one, and hope to pick up a DSSD some day. I find it interesting how some non-Rolex ADs joke about Rolexes not being accurate when mine have been superb. Have a great week everyone.

A Rolex of any era or line is a precision instrument. I use mine as such. Keep on Rolexin'!

Other AD's will say anything to try and convert you and make you buy one of there watches. Rolex's are pieces of art that happen to be a fine time piece as well.

Welcome aboard, Top!

A second a day is pretty extraordinary and I suspect that you'll see some variation as time goes on.

I've had my DJ regulated twice and my Explorer regulated once since I bought them in 2009 and 2008, respectively. All were done under warranty.

Here's your pic. Use the "IMG Code" at Photobucket.

Welcome, the new Rolex timepieces coming out with the parachrome hairspring are capable of extreme accuracy when correctly regulated.

Actually, that's Don's 216570.

I posted it for him because he used the wrong link tags.

Any Rolex watch when correctly regulated is capable of extreme accuracy no matter the name of the hairspring.Same as any watch thats has say a parachrom hairspring can if badly adjusted be not so accurate. There is nothing magical with the parachrom or any other hairspring. And the parachrom was first introduced with the new cal 4130 Daytona in 2000,but then it was more of a grey colour. If this parachrom hairspring was so wonderful and more accurate than the Nivarox ones. Why has it taken around 7-10 years for Rolex to introduce them into the rest of the movements if it was better and more accurate.
