I'm starting to think I'm in a minority of those who have a beater watch. I wear my nice watches daily and I don't sweat the normal dings and scratches when they happen, but I prefer to wear my beater, a marathon tsar(which recently replaced my quartz seamaster) for rough duty.

I joined those ranks. Brought a head only so I can wear it on the NATO strap. Not only did it expand my collection, but I can now wear a Rolex 24-7, whether for work or play.

Meant to be worn. Do not waste a thing of beauty and let it sit in the box. Wear your watch daily, drive your car like you stole it, smoke em if you've got em!
