Thinking of getting my DJ back....

Back in June I traded my U serial 16610 Sub and my 116200 2008 DJ, and an engagement ring, and cash for my DSSD. I have thought about getting the DJ back, the AD is asking $5000, which I won't pay that, but I thought about offering $3800, I have seen preowned on here, with either roman numerals or Arabic for around $4300, so my stick dial, I think, would be less.

They gave me $7500 in trade for both watches, $3800 is probably not enough cash for them, but I am not paying $5000.

I just thought if I can get it back it would be nice to have, if not no big deal, I love my DSSD and it will not be going anywhere, I would just rotate more often.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like you've done a decent amount of business with them, talk with your contact and see if you can work something out where you both win.
You're not too far from me, which AD? Bernie Robbins, in wayne, is pretty close to me, haven't been in there in a few months but I don't remember seeing any preowned rolexes.

I will be there tomorrow, my brother bought an Invicta Diver and they are going to take some links out for me, my DJ is int he Wilmington store tho.

I have also toyed with getting a PAM 000, something basic, entry level for a different look, but I did like my DJ and if I get it back I will wear it more.
