I'm sorry TRF

hey guys hope everyone is enjoying there Monday for me im tired .

some of you may know me and follow some of my post for the past year, and i must say there was a lot of learning between then and now well bought a rolex gmt 16710 D in Feb. ans was ecstatic and extremely happy just couldn't stop looking at that sweet coke. Not proud to admit but six months later i hit a financial snag and had to sell my baby and trust me when i say this i held on to it till the last min., well it really bothered me and since then i stayed away from TRF because i felt i wasn't worthy to be here, i do love being here and talking to the members because one of them became a close friend of me "Transcon" well i had a long talk with my soon to be wife and she said when she looked at me on TRF i looked happy now i just walk around the apt. like a zombie so i came back and started to post and it feels great to be here so i'm here to stay
I WANT TO THANK EVERY ONE WHO HAS GIVEN ME ADVISE ON HERE AND WILL NOT LET SOMETHING LIKE THAT GET BETWEEN MY LOVE FOR ROLEX OR WATCHES FOR THAT MATTER.

It's only a watch I'm sure you'll be able to buy another in due time. One door closes the next one always opens.

Welcome back to TRF .. You don't have to own a Rolex to be here and share in the passion of Rolex watches .. I hope that you are able to own another Rolex one day very soon.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck. I'm sure another will come your way. Owning a Rolex isn't necessary here, just an interest in them.

If you hit a financial snag why would you be posting "what AP could I buy with $10,000"

Be honest to the people.. You sold you Rolex to fund your new AP that you are about to BUY!!

Welcome back and simply enjoy the forum. Some here own hundreds of thousands $ worth of Rolex (and other brands) some don't: it makes no difference.

We all have "bad" times. But, with time we get over them and so will you.

In the mean time TRF is here and we are all with you.

Look at it this way.

There are a million ways you could have spent the price of a Rolex that would be irretrievable in the face of adversity.

Your choice to buy an item that would hold its value besides giving you great pleasure is what helped to save your butt at the moment of truth.

There's certainly no shame in that!

Welcome back.

Glad to see you back Michael, and try to remember a couple of things.

First, a lot of people hit financial snags. It happens and we have to roll with the punches.

Second, there are many members here who have not yet had the pleasure of owning their first Rolex, at least you've already had one so far. Stick around, you're a good member of the TRF community.

Welcome back man. The cool thing about this forum is that the only things that you have to have to be a member here is to have a passion for excellent time pieces. Especially the Rolex brand. Things happen and I am sure you will get your watch back when the time is right. Until then, enjoy the friendships you will make here and post your knowledge of the brand so others can learn from you.
Again, welcome back

Don't save and buy two. Buy one and cherish it while you save the rest.

A rolex on the wrist is appreciated more with savings in the bank.

Take your time, enjoy. And welcome back.

Michael, I for one am glad to see you posting again and would like to say I'm sorry to read about your previous financial problems. However, please never hesitate to post around here and, by all means, never think you are unworthy of hanging around TRF. This isn't just made for Rolex owners, it's made for people who have a passion for watches (whether they own one or not) and, first and foremost, kind people who can have fun and talk with others just to relax!

Welcome back my friend!

In this life we lead you buy, you sell, you flip, you trade.

Never look at the reason, nor look back with regrets.

I've flipped a gold President to buy stock for a few months - made some money and then dove back into a Daytona + GMT with the profit. Other times, lose some money on a watch rehab and chalk it up to experience. So dive back in and post some pics when you get something.

It's all good - welcome back
