FS: Panerai Luminor 1950 Flyback Chronograph Series PAM 361 - N Serial

For sale is the rare and stunning Panerai Luminor 1950 Flyback Chronograph Series PAM 361 N serial in near mint (95%+) condition. The only sign of wear is a 1mm scratch on the bezel at the 11:58 mark. The rest of the watch, clasp, and the straps are completely mint. This 44mm piece features a black dial, with a brushed stainless steel case and bezel. It is mounted on a Panerai black rubber strap with brushed stainless steel deployant clasp. It also comes with an unworn Panerai brown calf leather strap. This piece features the automatic Panerai OP XIX flyback movement, which can be seen through the see-through caseback.

From the Officine Panerai website: The Luminor 1950 Chrono Flyback watch represents an important evolutionary moment, since it introduces a newly conceived aesthetic with technical details of absolute value. The case reproduces a version from the 1950s, with rounded edges and a smoothly rounded bezel with polished finish, which confers a touch of classicism on an article with a markedly sporting tendency. The sapphire crystal too is unusual, with accentuated cambering of the edges, achieved by working the synthetic sapphire internally.

The movement that equips the Panerai Luminor 1950 Chrono Flyback is the Panerai OP XIX. Apart from the typical indications of the standard chronograph, this calibre has a further function: permanent zeroing, otherwise known as flyback or retour en vol. If the zeroing push-piece is pressed while the chronograph is running, the large central hand is returned directly to zero, without having first to be stopped. By continuing to hold down the zeroing push-piece, the chronograph hand immediately begins a new measurement starting from zero.

Included are the outer cardboard box, inner black box, inner pearwood box, movement stickers, manual, polishing cloth, tools, both straps, COSC certificate, warranty card, and warranty book. All pictures are of the actual item being sold. (145)
